Amen. I think jealousy can be a valuable motivator if you are cognizant of the cause. Being jealous is often a projection of someone's own laziness, especially when it concerns success.

Very interesting post on a subject everyone has experimented in its own way. I understand a lot of what you said. I'm not jealous at all in the relationship context, but like you I'm kinda "jealous" of situation an events I wasn't present. Because, as you, I feel I'd like to have 1000 me... Yet, also, I'm always happy to see other people's succss.

Hey I still tell stories about you, well no not really, other than the nose miss happ, but thats a big story!!!! Jealousy is a strange thing, but I think if its in control its a good thing, it lets you know what you are missing in life. I am also very impressed to see you can control it, most people think its a lie that you can use logic and restraint to do this, I have gotten a lot of shit over the years for taking a look at my emotions in a logical manner. P.S. I hope its O.K. that I have been reading your blog? I think its really human and grounding.
